Hello Elizabeth! I am so enjoying looking over your shoulder at the various sorts of life you are tending at your beautiful chateau. I must admit to having cultivated, assiduously, my own "L'oeil americaine" when my children were growing up, and I am happy to say that I can still knock them back a step or two when I aim it in their direction. I took a soupcon of inspiration from Miss Basinger's Arctic gaze, and it simplified my life considerably.

Your picture of Nanking and Victoire exudes such sophisticated repose. SURELY you are safe from temperment this time around!

Thank you for sharing your lovely world.

Best, Sharon

Thank you, Sharon! The "eye" of the basilisk -- but what a solid and worthy soul she was, Miss Bassinger. "Avis réservé" regarding "le tempérament" this time around. Nanking is certainly a beauty, though -- and that compensates!

Hi Elizabeth,

Love your new filly❤️and fillies/mare are my favorites though I am still trying to meld hearts with my Stormy who was a young gorgeous and proud Andalusian stallion, who gave me two sweet fillies and is now a gelding which has worked as I hoped to enable him to live with others but has NOT lessoned his "proud baring" at all 🫣

Hope you Bill are well...wonder if you have seen Doug and Ancha?

Please say hello to Valery💋

Samantha

I'd love to see this Stormy! He sounds lovely. I never did geld Keywest and since he gave me India, I'm glad I didn't. But a retired stallion is complicated. Luckily, he was a nice boy (unlike that Sarastro!).
